Carlos Lopez Jr., NSIC, CKA®

CEO / Senior Wealth Advisor

In January of 2019, Carlos founded Two Pillars in Frisco, Texas. He has over thirty years of demonstrated investment experience in both bonds and stocks since graduating from NYU - Stern School of Business in 1994 (B.S. Finance, Economics).  Over the decades, he has served asset managers, hedge funds, and investment banks in a variety of senior roles, including as a Portfolio Manager and Director of Trading for a leading faith-based firm, a VP of High Yield Sales Trading, and as a Founding Member of several Investment Committees. Carlos believes that God called him out of the institutional marketplace in 2012 to help advance the faith driven investing community with the special skills that He has given him. He is known as a statesman and ambassador for Biblically Responsible Investing by his ongoing faithful contributions to the advancement of this movement from as early as 2004.

Carlos is a Certified National Security Investment Consultant (NSIC) which is granted by the NSIC Institute to investment advisors who have become equipped and certified in LSV Investing (Liberty, national Security, traditional Values). NSIC advisors have demonstrated themselves to be able to apply new analytical toolsets and a better understanding of the geopolitical root issues and weapons being formed against client portfolios.

He is also a Certified Kingdom Advisor and has been trained to provide Biblically wise financial advice. He has taught Biblical stewardship for churches, including as a Small Group Leader for Crown Financial Ministries. 

Carlos enjoys spending time with his wife Kimberly, especially as they explore the Great State of Texas and worship God together at their church in north Texas. He also enjoys reading, morning walks on my treadmill, bass fishing, and playing golf whenever he can.
